I have access to extensive data on the life and works of George Blackall Simonds, who was a leading artist of his period. His extensive work has never been well researched and written up. I believe that his life and works would make a very good subject for an original PhD Thesis or biography and I would cooperate fully with any potential author.
A manuscript Biography was drafted by Godwin Arnold and Sydney Gold of Reading in 2000 but never completed, because sadly Godwin died. This research is available for reference.
