A great day for those who might one day like to learn more about H&G Simonds Ltd and the family that ran it for 200 years!
8 large filing boxes of Simonds Family archives, all duly sorted & catalogued, were delivered to The Royal Berkshire Archives on Coley Street, Reading, where they will be cataloged to their standards and made available to the public for future research. My thanks to the team there for taking this on!
The vast majority have already been scanned and loaded to this site – some 150,000 pages!
